زَيَّنِتِ البَيْتِ كْتِير حِلْو على عِرْس بِنْتَهْا ‎[S] She decorated the house very nicely for her daughter's wedding
‏زَيَّنوا الزِيْنِة ‎[L] they really decorated, they decked (it) out;

عَشان يِبَيِّـن الحَقّ ‎[E] in order to reveal the truth;
‏جِهَاز يِبَيِّـن الصُورة المَنطِقة مُعَيَّنة ‎[E] an apparatus which shows the image of a given area;

‏الْعُمْدة زيّن الشّارِع ‎[M] The mayor spruced up the boulevard.

زيّن راسُو ‎[M] to make o.s. look good (مع = s.o.)
‏الْعسّاس كيْزيّن راسو مْعا الْمْعلّم باش يْرسّمو ‎[M] The guardian trumps himself up in front of the boss so that he'll give him a work contract.

زيّن راسو معا ‎[M] to improve one's image with (s.o.)
‏الْعسّاس دْيال الْمعْمل كيْحاول يْزيّن راسو مْعا الْمْعلّم، عْلى حْساب الْخدّامة ‎[M] The factory guardian is trying to improve his image with the boss, at the expense of the employees.

حَالْتُو بْدَات تْزْيَن ‎[M] His condition is getting better.

هِيَ كا تكْبر وْهِي كا تْزْيَن ‎[M] She becomes more beautiful as she grows up.
‏ملّي الْبْنات كيْديروا الْماكِيّاج، كيْزْيانوا ‎[M] When girls put on makeup they become beautiful.

حْسَنَة مْزِيْوْنَة هادي عْملْتِ ‎[M] That's a nice haircut you got!

التَّأْجِيل حَقّ (حَگّ) باكِر (بَاچِر) زَين ‎[E.G.] putting (it) off until tomorrow is good

إِذَا تِبِّي تْرُوْحِي الجامْعَة بَارُوح وِيَّاك (وِيَّاچ) ‎[G] if you want to go to the university, I will go with you
‏إِذَا طَلَبْتِ فْلُوس، عَطَيتِك (عَطَيْتِچ) ‎[G] if you asked for money, I would give it to you

هالسَنة بَرَكة. المَحْصُول كُلّش زَين ‎[I] This year is a lucky one. The harvest is very good.

‏مَاشَالله بَرَكة. يَوم عَلَى يَوم يْزِيد ‎[I] God's been generous, there's more every day.

‏حَلَّت البَرَكَة ‎[I] You are most welcome here (as a greeting. Literally: "blessing prevailed")

وِزَاْرَة الزِرَاعة قَرِّرَت تِبْزِل هالمَنْطِقَة ‎[I] The Ministry of Agriculture has decided to drain this area.

الحَكَم حِكَمِ الضَّرْبَة كانَت (چانَت) أَوْت ‎[I] The referee ruled the ball was out-of-bounds
‏الحَكَم ما دا يِحْكُم زَين. ما يُعْرُفِ القَوَانِين ‎[I] The referee isn't doing a good job. He doesn't know the rules.

حَلِيْبَه ما يْخَلِّيه يْسَوِّي هِيكِي (هِيْچِي) شي ‎[I] His breeding won't let him do such a thing.
‏حَلِيْبَة مُو زَيْن ‎[I] He's not honorable (that is his womenfolks' milk isn't good)
‏حَلِيْبَه نْظِيف وْما يْخُون أَي واحِد ‎[I] He's an honorable fellow and wouldn't betray anyone.
‏اِنْتَ وْحَلِيْبَك. إِذَا أَسْتَاهِلِ فْلُوس، اِنْطِيْنِي ‎[I] I leave it to your honor. If I deserve money, give it to me.
‏رح تِقْبُض مِن دَبَش. هُوَّ وْحَلِيبَه ‎[I] You'll wind up holding the short end (you'll get a handful of stones). That's how honorable he is.
‏اِنْتَ وْحَلِيبَك يا لِبَن ‎[I] Your family honor's in question (an insult implying that one's mother's milk was soured because her character was questionable)
